Encryption is constantly evolving, but quantum computing is poised to make many current methods obsolete. My idea is to develop a messaging app that uses quantum key distribution (QKD) to ensure unbreakable encryption. By leveraging the principles of quantum entanglement, the app would generate keys that cannot be intercepted without altering their state, making eavesdropping impossible. The biggest challenge would be making QKD scalable and practical for everyday use, but with the rise of quantum networks, it’s becoming increasingly feasible. This could redefine how we think about digital privacy and secure communication.
